Prep talk: Quarterback Dominick Catalano gets another shot at Mater Dei

Dominick Catalano has waited four years to be a quarter-Arrière starting from Corona Centennial. He took control of a 2-1 team and faced the n ° 1 Mater dei at home Friday evening.
Catalano, however, started during the opening of the season last season due to an injury to Husan Longstreet and took advantage of his debut against one of the best defenses in the state – Mater Dei. He completed 17 of the 32 passes for 188 yards and two affected with two interceptions in a defeat of 42-25.
He is more mature and more confident in Friday’s match. He always gets all the A on his bulletin and heads for Pomona-Pitzer, which is not exactly easy to enter.
His brother, Anthony, was an interim coach of Centennial two weeks ago against Santa Margarita, and the Catalano brothers almost won a prolongation victory.
Coach Matt Logan appreciated Dominick’s loyalty while waiting for his turn to be a starter, but it was inevitable. He is an ancient centenary boy. It has passed for 757 yards and eight affected and has to face the planned rush to Mater dei Pass on Friday.
It is the third team of the Trinity League that the Huskies play in non-Ligue matches, having beaten served and lost against Santa Margarita.
