Texas cop saves choking toddler with 23-second response time

A pair of parents from Texas narrowly avoided the tragedy, and an officer was greeted like a hero after having dislodged a tiny toy from their tune with their toddler 23 seconds after a frantic call from 911 gathered them in a Taco Bell parking lot.
Daisy Walker noticed that her daughter was breaking up on Sunday while playing with her favorite plastic toy – the one she “took in bed” and “wakes up asking” – and suddenly realized that Ddy, 2, was choking, although Daisy told Kltv that she had never suspected the toy.
She and her husband Brian Walker tried rescue measures, but that did not work. With the time that exhausted, the couple fled from their home to Lindale towards an urgent care at the end of their block. Daisy tightened the Tot Limp and her husband shouted in her phone to the 911 distributor: “My daughter is dying!”

But urgent care was closed and walkers were next to them. At this moment, Sergeant Michael Lazarine of the Lindale police service stopped in the Taco bell next to the distributor’s call.
The stars were aligned. A few months earlier, the department had brought a specialist in RCR who showed the police how to save children, whose delicate bodies need a modified heimlich.
“It’s almost as if I was supposed to be ready for this precise moment,” Lazarine told Kltv.
The 24 -year -old police veteran had never met the situation, but he was ready. Bodycam has activated, Lazarine got out of her car, recovered the child from her father’s arms and started compressions on her stomach, occasionally turning it and keeping the pressure stable.
After a few seconds which had to look like an eternity, blew up a plastic pearl the size of a thumb, the purple octopus of “Finding Nemo” of 2003 and its 2016 suite, “Finding Dory”.

The three adults could be heard exclaiming outside the camera, “there are!” While the child started to breathe again.
The entire episode was finished in less than half a minute, discs later revealed. The walkers are convinced that they owe everything to Lazarine and the distributor Kimberly Smith, without whom Addy “would not be here today,” the mother with the tearful eyes of the girl in Kltv told.
