The dreams of 59 basketball prospects for the ranks of the college and around the world were made during the draft of the NBA 2025. The two-day event at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn began with the Dallas Mavericks Selection of Cooper Flagg at N ° 1. It ended with Memphis’ grizzly greeks selecting Jahmai Mashack from Tennessee to choose from n ° 59.

One of the most notable names not selected was the Alabama All-American Guard Mark Sears, who emerged as one of the best players in the country after the transfer of Ohio in 2022. Another unheat name was the star of St. John’s Wing RJ Luis Jr., the great player of the year. Luis, who was sadly famous by coach Rick Pitino during the NCAA tournament, entered the transfer portal and finally chose to stay in the draft.

The best classified player in our large CBS Sports board who was not drafted was Izan Almansa outside Spain. It was n ° 40 in our ranking.

Another player who did not hear his name called was the star of Kentucky Jaxson Robinson, who followed coach Mark Pope from Byu in the United Kingdom for his last university season. For the first time since 2009, a Kentucky player was not selected in the first round. The Wildcats, however, involved two players in the Tour 2 while Koby Brea went 41st in the Phoenix Suns and that Amari Williams went 46th to the Boston Celtics.

The star of Arizona Caleb Love, the classified player n ° 78 on our recovery table, was not selected either. Love, a high-level goalkeeper, started his university career in Northern Carolina before transferring to Arizona in 2023, where he helped the Wildcats reach the second weekend of the NCAA tournament twice.

A handful of this year’s snubs would have already signed bidirectional contracts with NBA franchises shortly after the end of the project. And many of the other unrelated players will have the chance to shine in the NBA summer league.

Here is an overview of the best hopes that were left on the board at the end of the second round Thursday.
