Steam update lets you rename your games

For a large part of PC players, Steam could as well be the de facto games of games on the platform. If you play on a steam game, you can double this feeling. So, a big update of the Steam program is a big problem on its own. And today’s update is big. Like, so large, he has to pay attention to threatening floating icebergs – seriously huge.

There are dozens of corrective and adjustments in the official update journal, but I will focus on those who have jumped on me.

• A new personalization tab allows you to define a personalized sorting name. This is a big problem for people who have huge collections and who want to organize them. For example, you can define the heavy title for “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition” for simply “Skyrim”, so it appears under “S” in the list as your brain says.
• This menu also allows you to define a personalized coverage, a wide cover, a background and a logo. You can define the game cover on a screenshot of the personalized character that you spent 100 hours and a dozen different mods. Yeah, I see you, weird.
• New accessibility parameters in office mode, including high contrast, reduced movement and user interface scaling. My tired eyeballs would say “thank you” if they could say anything (they cannot, they are eyelashes).
• The performance instructor is back with an adjustment that should be more precise than the task manager.
• You now get a notification when transactions are reversed via trade protection (always limited to Counterattacleas far as I know).
• You can filter by “private games” in dynamic collections or filtered application views.
• New improvements and fixes for various controllers, including new options from Joystick, TrackPad and D-PAD, and button icons for 8BITDO controllers.
• Steam store pages are now wider and better formatted for large screen monitors.

The update is now live for the main steam channel, no need to hunt a beta version. It could already be applied in your system, so go check it out.
