Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va., began his remarks at a committee hearing addressing the shooting of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and other recent acts of political violence. Kaine expressed his concern that violence was becoming “too common” and how it was shaping foreign leaders’ views of American politics.
