Creep charged with sexually assaulting 71-year-old Brooklyn woman in her apartment
A cheeky intruder who has sexually assaulted a 71 -year -old woman in her bed after having faufilled through a window on her Brooklyn apartment was arrested, the cops announced on Thursday.
Servin Maradiaga, 43, crawled in the bed with the sleeping victim and started to strangle and grop after having slipped through a kitchen window in his apartment near Berriman St. and Liberty Ave. In Cypress Hills around 2:15 a.m. on August 30, police announced.
After assaulting the terrified woman, Maradiaga snatched her pajamas pants and fled in what the cops described as a “burglary with sexual motivation”.
Maradiaga was arrested Thursday in Brooklyn around 9 a.m. and faces charges such as rape, burglary, criminal obstruction of breathing and aggravated sexual abuse.
Maradiaga lives in East Elmhurst in Queens, about eight miles from the victim’s apartment, police said.
It was not immediately clear what Maradiaga did to Brooklyn before the assault. Police said he did not think he and the victim knew each other before the shocking intrusion.
