Ludwig
There is no shortage of crime and mystery shows, but it is not a problem when they are as good as Ludwig. The British show features David Mitchell in the role of John Taylor, a creator of puzzle books. He is the happiest at home by himself, far from the complexities of others – unlike his identical twin brother James, who is a detective chief inspector and lives with his wife Lucy (Anna Maxwell Martin) and his son Henry (Dylan Hughes). However, when James disappears, John’s routine is thrown into disarray because Lucy asks him to help discover what happened.
This implies that John will work and pretend to be his brother, which is as fun as it may seem. Although the plan is for John to search for clues to the police station, it is quickly wrapped in surveys on murder, using his in -depth knowledge of the puzzles to break the case – a little for astonishment of his colleagues. Ludwig well balances the wider mystery of the disappearance of James with a crime format of the week; You do not feel short-circuit when John is diverted because it is fun and captivating.
The show establishes a great balance between drama and comedy. He is never massively dark, nor too ridiculous. It is thanks to the writing and perfect performance of Pitch from Mitchell, Martin and the rest of the distribution. It is also very bingable. You will go through the six episodes in a flash – and you will be happy to learn that a second season is currently turning.

Boys
Boys is an original series original video based on the comic strip of the same name. It is a superhero show, but that may not be what you expect. Rather than the nobility that guides emblematic characters like Superman, Boys Includes a group of superpowers called the seven who are corrupt and use their powers, but they wish. They work for a company called Vought International which controls their public image and markets them as heroes.
A vigilant group of humans, led by Billy Butcher of Karl Urban, undertakes to withdraw and expose the seven. The show is hilarious and dark, and there is a lot of action and exaggerated violence. He also brilliantly satiates things like the culture of celebrities, societies and politics. Alongside Urban, the overall cast presents the talents of Jack Quaid, Antony Starr and Erin Moriarty, to name only a few. There is no weak link, and you can feel the pleasure they must have made the show.
If you end up enjoying BoysYou should also check Gen VA derivative show that was launched in 2023. These are young superheroes who attend a special school of crime, in the hope of having their proven worthy of joining the seven. The second season is launching soon, this is now the ideal moment to intervene.

Jack Ryan from Tom Clancy
Jack Ryan is a character who is no stranger to the big screen, with Harrison Ford and Chris Pine playing the role. But Jack Ryan from Tom Clancy is the first television series dedicated to the CIA agent, here played by John Krasinski. If you only know the actor of The officeYou may be wondering if it is convincing as manager – the answer is a resounding yes. Jack de Krasinski is intelligent, courageous and ingenious, but the actor makes him feel anchored and a man.
Jack begins like a CIA analyst who works from his office, but he finds himself on the ground after discovering the financial transactions he thinks is linked to terrorism. He himself proves more than capable and, during four seasons, is involved in all kinds of winding missions and with high issues around the world. He comes under his boss James Greer, played by the charming Wendell Pierce effortlessly, and often works alongside Mike November, a former agency worker who became an entrepreneur played by Michael Kelly.
Jack Ryan from Tom Clancy Has a lot of high octane action sequences, but it is also an intelligent political thriller. Although the show concluded satisfactorily in 2023, a film in a row is currently in development. There are also plans for a spin-off series with Michael Peña, who appeared in the fourth season of The Main Show as a deadly CIA operation.
If you explode these three programs, you will be delighted to know that there are much more entertainment to come on Prime Video in September. If you don’t know what to press Jouez, come back next week because I will have another big selection of shows to send your way.
