Appeals Court Tosses Ridiculous Ruling That Kept Money Flowing to Planned Parenthood – RedState

A federal court of appeal ruled Thursday in what becomes a rarity that a federal law replaced the whim of a random judge. The cause was the provision of the Big Beautiful Bill law of 2025 which placed a moratorium on all federal payments to Planned Parenthood of America and its affiliates, as long as it provides abortion services anywhere. This places PPA in the uncomfortable position to give up two of his favorite activities: kill babies and siphon federal money.
This is what has become a banal act among the jurrics thugs at the level of the district court; a judge Indira Talwani of the United States District Court for the Massachusetts district imposed a temporary prohibition order at this provision. What was notable is that Judge Talwani forced the executive power to violate federal law without deciding on the constitutionality of the law itself.

The administration called on the first circuit. At first, he looked sinister because the panel of three judges consisted of all the names of Biden.
Surprisingly, the panel found that the decision of judge Talwani is so bizarre that even they could not support him.
The unanimous vote of the judges Gustavo A. Gelpí, Lara E. Montecalvo and Seth R. Aframe – All appointed by President Joseph R. Biden Jr. – will now allow federal reimbursements of Medicaid for these other services.
The two -page ordinance of the judges did not offer any reasoning or indication of their point of view on the legal advantages of the case, and the federal dollars can only be retained.
But the break nevertheless constituted an important financial setback for Planned Parenthood, which has strongly relied on government reimbursements for medical services. In recent years, more than 40% of its income has come from reimbursements and government’s subsidies disbursed by the Ministry of Health and Social Services.

My evaluation is that “the order of two pages offered no reasoning or indication of their opinions on the legal advantages of the case” was a polite way of not saying “you / come to be myself!”
Naturally, the infanticide sector was not happy. Planned Parenthood Federation of America president and chief executive officer, Alexis McGill Johnson, said in a statement.
“Patients that rely on essential health care that Planned Parenthood health centers cannot plan their future, decide where they go for care or control their lives, their bodies and their future – all because the Trump administration and its donors wish to attack Planned Parenthood and close health centers.
As Planned Parenthood provides no service, apart from abortion, which is not easily available elsewhere, none of this declaration is true.
With a little luck, it will be a major blow for the abortion industry. Without government dollars to finance abortion cases and lobbying arm of the app, it will be reduced to insignificance. If he withdraws from the abortion sector, he offers nothing that cannot be found elsewhere. Because the other services he provides are only losses that attract young women to his abortion services, it is difficult to see how he survives in his current form.
