Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary today, and as you’d expect, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are stirring up nostalgia in every way possible. In addition to re-releasing the Game Boy Advance remakes of Pokémon Red And Blue on Nintendo Switch Online, they also sell us a portable Pokémon jukebox in the shape of a Game Boy.

Officially titled Pokémon Game Music Collection, the small music player is the size of a palm and can be loaded with 45 different cartridges, each featuring a different tune or sound effect from the original games’ soundtrack. The device was announced by the series’ longtime composer Junichi Masuda during today’s Pokémon Presents live stream, where he said that special care was taken with the audio sound, just like on the Game Boy.

Each cartridge also contains a screenshot of the games. So when you slide it into the device’s display slot, it feels like you’re playing and listening. Put one next to last year’s equally charming Lego Game Boy on a shelf and you’ve got two entirely non-playable replicas of the iconic handheld, sure to confuse and disappoint your guests in equal measure.

The Pokémon Game Music Collection is available for purchase from the Pokémon Center starting today, but US pricing has not yet been confirmed.
