A massive new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 leak suggests we could see some serious upgrades at next week’s Unpacked

- A detailed leakage of the specifications includes the possible dimensions and the weight of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7
- It also includes the details of the screen, the battery, the camera and the chipset
- If this is correct, these phones could be substantial upgrades
Yesterday, we saw unofficial renderings showing how the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could be, and now a leak has revealed the possible dimensions of the phone.
Setsuna Digital (via Phone Arena) says that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be 8.9 mm thick when folded and only 4.2 mm thick when it was unfolded – it would be down 12.1 mm and 5.6 mm on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is pending 13.7 mm thick when folded and 6.5 mm thick when unfolded, so it could be a larger device, but it would always make it thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, which is 14.9 mm and 6.9 mm when it is folded and disadvantaged.
This source also claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 will weigh 215 g (from 239 g), and that it will have an 8 -inch foldable screen and a 6.5 -inch blanket screen, which would both be slightly larger than those of its predecessor.
It is also said that he has a main 200 Mp camera (up to 50 Mp on the Z Fold 6), a 10MP front camera, an “improved armor aluminum frame” and a rear -ceramic rear panel, while the chipset is apparently a “snapdragon 8”, which probably means a Snapdragon 8 series – the same chipset Galaxy S25.
From fold to flip
As for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, it is said that it would weigh 188G, which would make it slightly heavier than its 187g predecessor. It also apparently has a 6.9 -inch foldable screen and a 4.1 -inch blanket screen, which would both be larger than on the current model, with the coverage screen in particular from the 3.4 inch 6 fold Z.
The two screens would have a 120 Hz cooling rate, which would be an upgrade of the cover screen, and apparently the telescope around the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 screen is 1.25 mm.
This source also claims that the two screens have a maximum brightness of 2,600 nits, which would once again be an upgrade of the cover screen but not for the main display, and that the battery is 4,300 mAh, against 4000mah on the current model.
If this leak is correct, these two phones could be in fairly impressive upgrades, and as we have heard many of these details before it is probably that a large part is correct, especially since this leak has good history.
That said, some details are slightly conflict with the things we have heard before – in particular, there is no agreement between the leaks on the exact dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7.
We should discover how precise this leak is, because the next Samsung Galaxy unpacked is July 9, and we will almost certainly see the two phones revealed during the event.
