Woeful Titans tired of talking about winless start with skid now at 10 straight

Nashville, Tennessee (AP) – Time to speak is finished for the Titans of Tennessee without victory. The defensive platform three times Pro Bowl, Jeffery Simmons, says that they play bad football and that it is tired of hearing and saying that they have to play better.
“We did not play good football on Sunday to win a football match, so we finally played good football to win football matches on Sunday,” said Simmons.

His frustration spread after the Titans fell to 0-4 this season with their slippage reaching 10 consequences consecutive to last season with a defeat of 26-0 in Houston.
Coach Brian Callahan gave the game tasks last week, and that did not help, when the quarter-arre recruit Cam Ward made his worst match again. Ward was 10 out of 26 for 108 yards with an interception and a 35.4 passer note.
The Titans have more reversals (five) that the offensive affected have marked (three) this season.
They are on average only 3.66 yards per game. This is the third worst to four games in the last 20 seasons of the NFL, following only the jets (3.16 in 2019) and the Jacksonville jaguars (3.56 in 2013).

Callahan said he could see on the film where the titans improve, although they still have to understand how to finish the games. He is 3-18 as a chief coach-two defeats against the record of the record that Ken Whisenhunt had when he was dismissed by this franchise in November 2015.
A start without victory is nothing new for Callahan, who was the offensive coordinator of Cincinnati in 2019 when the Bengals lost their first 11. They finished 2-14 and drafted Joe Burrow to No. 1 in 2020. Callahan said on Monday that he remembers only winning only six games in two seasons.
“It’s not a foreign place,” said Callahan. “I have already felt it.
When he was asked if he had reassured if he will have the chance to finish his second season, Callahan said that it would not matter. His work is simply to put the titans in a position to win matches until the team no longer wants it.

“I also know how the NFL works,” said Callahan.
What works
Defense. Yes, the Titans granted 20 points in the fourth quarter to the Texans. They were upgraded 47-10 in the fourth quarter, but they kept a 6-0 match in three quarters without the help of the offense.
What needs help
The offense. The Titans have been excluded for the first time since October 13, 2019, and only the seventh time since this franchise has moved to Tennessee before the 1997 season. They only managed 175 yards in total – the second time in four games, they could not reach 200 yards in total.
Their three touches marked are the least in the NFL with Cleveland and Houston the nearest teams that have marked six each.

Simmons. The defensive tackle needs more help on the rush towards the pass, but it had a bag and four pressures against Houston. He only needed 2.09 seconds to dismiss CJ Stroud, the fastest bag of the NFL in the last two seasons.
Simmons crossed the melee line at 0.32 seconds after the Snap, by Nextgenstats. It is the fastest of a defensive tackle this season.

Joey Slye. The life of a botter means success on each attempt. He started this season by doing his first 10 goals on the field. Now he missed his last four, including two in Houston who could have equalized the match. Last week, he was blocked of 62 yards after missing a width of 64 yards on the right.

His latest missing came from 41 and 43 yards.
Wounds
RT JC Latham should have a chance to come back after having missed three consecutive games with a tense hip. Otherwise, the titans could have put it on the injured reserve. RB Tyjae Spears (an ankle high sprained) will begin to practice with a 21 -day window to return from the injured reserve.
Key
18 – It is the longest slippage in the history of the franchise by the oilers of the then. They lost the last 11 of the 1972 season, then the first seven of 1973 before finally beat the colts of the Baltimore era on November 4. These two teams went 1-13.
Even in their worst season in Tennessee, the Titans won twice in 2014.

Following steps
Staying on the ground as an offensive would be a big step towards the more research of the goal area. Five consecutive road losers, the Titans continue a three -game swing on Sunday in Arizona before going to Las Vegas.
