‘Abolish Trump’s ICE and Replace It’

On Saturday’s “CNN Newsroom,” Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D) said that not only should ICE leave Minneapolis, but “we should abolish Trump’s ICE and replace it with something else.” He also said the Trump administration was saying things before there was an investigation, and that there should be an investigation into the Minnesota shooting that took place earlier Saturday.
Pritzker said: “It’s time, frankly, to lower the temperature, but also to push ICE out of Minneapolis. They should stand down and ICE should be reorganized. And, honestly, we should abolish Trump’s ICE and replace it with something else.”
Later, Pritzker said Minnesota officials were doing the right thing by calling for an investigation, and that DHS was “consistently lying before an investigation was initiated.” And the investigations “most often” end up giving a bad image to the federal government.
