Man arrested after allegedly skipping out on restaurant bill
HENDERSON Ky. (WEHT) – A Gibson County man is behind bars after deputies say he failed to pay a restaurant bill.
The sheriff’s office said Derek Jones, 44, was arrested this afternoon behind a dumpster near a Denny’s on State Road 57 in Gibson County.
Deputies say employees identified Jones as the suspect during a dine-and-run incident. Deputies also say Jones is linked to similar cases at Lupe and Applebee’s the day before.

Jones was arrested for theft and booked into the Gibson County Jail.
Deputies also say Jones has an extensive criminal history and is currently the subject of 9 non-extraditable arrest warrants out of Illinois.
