Australia denies Iran action due to ‘intervention’ by Israel’s Netanyahu

Australia rejected an assertion that Israeli interventions prompted the government of Prime Minister Anthony to expel the Iranian ambassador to Canberra, after the Prime Minister blamed Tehran to have directed anti -Semitic attacks in Sydney and Melbourne.
“Complete nonsense,” Australian Minister of Internal Affairs said Tony Burke on Wednesday at ABC Radio when he was asked about Israel asking a credit for Australia’s decision to command the Tehran ambassador, Ahmad Sadeghi, to leave the country.
Albanese said on Tuesday that Australia had reached “The deeply disturbing conclusion” by “credible intelligence” which revealed that the Iranian government had “directed” at least two attacks against the Australian Jewish community.
Answering an ABC question about Australia’s allegations against Iran, the Israeli government spokesman David Mencer congratulated Australia for taking “serious threats” against the Jewish community, which he said came after a “direct intervention” by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Mencing said that Netanyahu had “made very direct comments on the [Australian] Prime Minister himself “, who pushed Albanians to action.
“He made these comments because he did not believe that the actions of the Australian government had moved enough to solve the problems of anti -Semitism,” added.
The ABC included comments to start in an article entitled: “The Israeli government asks for the credit for pushing the Albanians to expel Iranian diplomats.”
Netanyahu last week Albanian accused to be “a weak politician who betrayed Israel and abandoned the Jews of Australia”, a few days after the Albanian announced that Australia would move officially recognize a Palestinian state in September.
Iran said it “Absolutely rejected” The accusations of Australia concerning attacks and noted that the statements had occurred after Australia had led “limited criticism” to Israel.
“It seems that this action is taken in order to compensate for the limited criticisms that the Australian party has directed to the Zionist regime [Israel]”Said the spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmaeil Baghaei.
“Any inappropriate and unjustified action at the diplomatic level will have a reciprocal reaction,” said Baghaei.
Ilana Lenk, spokesperson and head of public diplomacy at the Israel Embassy in Canberra, shared the first Australian pages with titles, including “Iran US Attacks” and “Target Iran Bondi Deli”, in an article on social networks.
“We have warned that Iran would not stop with Israel or the Jewish people. The West is the next one is not only a slogan, and today Australia sees it,” she wrote.
In a statement, the Jewish Council of Australia said that it was “shocked to learn the participation of the Iranian government to coordinate anti -Semitic attacks”.
“The fact that a foreign government seems to be responsible for how irresponsible it was that attacks be used to demonize the Solidarity Solidarity Movement of Palestine,” the council said in a statement.
“We call on politicians and the media to be cautious and to avoid the politicization of these attacks in a way that could harm the Jewish community more,” added the press release.
