Alan Dershowitz Says He Can Help Team Trump Prove WSJ’s Epstein Story Was ‘Malice’

The lawyer noted Alan Dershowitz said on Sunday that he could be called as a witness in the trial of President Donald Trump against the Wall Street Journal, arguing that he could help “prove malice” in the case.
On Friday, Trump announced that he had brought an action against the WSJ and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, on an article which claimed to have sent a disgrace financier Jeffrey Epstein a letter of debauchery celebrating his birthday. Dershowitz told the host of “Sunday Agenda” Lidia Curanaj that he had also been contacted by the WSJ on a letter he would have sent, that the point of sale could not produce. “I will probably be called as a witness in the case because they also called me, and they said that you wrote a letter to him with a simulated coverage of Vanity Fair,” Dershowitz told Curanaj. “And I said,” I may have, I don’t remember, it was 23 years ago. Just send me a copy of the letter with my signature and I will tell you if it is authentic or not “, and they said they could not do it.”
“And so they have published the story without authenticating it with me, and this will be an important point to try to prove wickedness, so I suspect that I will be a witness if this case is never judged,” continued Dershowitz.

Trump obtained a settlement of $ 15 million with ABC in December 2024 after continuing the point of sale on March 19, 2024, for defamation on the comments made by the host “this week” George Stephanopoulos during a controversial appearance on March 10 by the Republican representative Nancy Mace of South Caroline. CBS has set up a legal action of $ 10 billion brought by Trump about the modification of an interview of October 2024 with the president of the time, Kamala Harris, who was Trump’s opponent in the presidential election in 2024, aroused criticism of the company.
Some supporters of President Donald Trump criticized him as well as the prosecutor General Pam Bondi for the processing of Epstein files, the president being “rated” on Truth Social on the issue, Newsweek reported. Trump retaliated on criticism in an article on Wednesday on Truth Social and also defended leaping in a long declaration published on July 12 on the site.
Trump announced in a social post of truth on Thursday evening that he asked Bondi to ask for permission from the courts to disclose the transcriptions of the Grand Jury of the Epstein affair. Bondi declared in a response published on X that the Doj would move the documents on Friday.
