All the great Prime Video shows and movies coming in March
March is upon us, and as the restorative days and months lie ahead, Prime Video has launched a slew of new movies and TV shows to keep us entertained. The streaming giant just released more than 80 new titles that include new Amazon original movies, TV shows, and specials, as well as a stack of new seasons of some of the season’s most anticipated shows.
Prime Video subscribers can expect brilliant, buzzworthy content featuring Hollywood heavyweights. To begin, Guy Ritchie dives back into the world of Sherlock Holmes with a new version of the classic character. Young Sherlock (March 4) is a new eight-episode adventure-mystery series starring Hero Fiennes Tiffin, nephew of actors Ralph and Joseph Fiennes, the latter also playing Sherlock’s father in the series.
The forensic crime thriller from Nicole Kidman, Jamie Lee Curtis and Bobby Cannavale is also highly anticipated. Scarpette (March 11), as well as a new sci-fi comedy drama created by and starring Riz Ahmed titled Bait (March 25). Additionally, some returning series include season four of Invincible (March 18), season two of Deadloch (March 20) and the second season of House of David (March 27).
In terms of the original film, enthusiasm is growing for Quite deadly (March 25), a campy action thriller about a group of ballerinas who must fight for their lives to escape a roadside inn and its crooked owner, played by Uma Thurman. Of course, many licensed films will also be available on Prime Video in March, highlights of which include Superbad, Raging Bull, Rain Man, all the Shrek films, Parenthood, The Silence of the Lambs, 12 monkeysand many more.
Additionally, Prime Video offers the required NBA games throughout the month as the regular season ends and the playoff season begins. Here we go, March!
