By analyzing archival data from the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), an international team of astronomers inspected the outflow of a nearby galaxy known as NGC 1266. The results of the new study, presented December 11 on the preprint server arXiv, could help us better understand the nature of this galaxy.
