Taj Mahal “is definitely a horse for the course,” said Yu, who was impressed by his limited performance. “He doesn’t win these victories, he wins by walking away.” Taj Mahal had a bad break pulling the inside rail, but 12 horses have won the Preakness from that spot, and the horses just outside may not have the speed to take him out.
