Apple’s last-gen AirPods Pro 2 are a phenomenal deal at $139.99

Walmart officially launched its first Black Friday deals on Friday, with the first wave of discounts running from November 14-16. One of the best deals we’ve spotted is for the latest generation AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C charging casewhich currently cost $139 ($110 off). That’s still less than the discount we saw during Prime Day — and only $10 more than the entry-level AirPods 4 without active noise cancellation. Best Buy’s deal of the day which offered them for $129 has unfortunately sold out.
Although Apple released the excellent AirPods Pro 3, the second-generation AirPods Pro 2 remains a solid option, especially at the reduced price. The wireless earbuds combine superb sound with excellent ANC, plus a transparency mode that looks natural and realistic. In addition to letting outside sounds in, transparency mode can also help muffle loud noises, protecting your hearing from the sudden scream of an emergency siren.
AirPods Pro 2 can also double as FDA-approved hearing aids, while providing up to six hours of battery life with ANC enabled. Speaking of battery life, the charging case is equipped with MagSafe, making it easy to place on a MagSafe or Qi2 wireless charger. The headphones also feature an IP54 rating, so they should be able to withstand a bit of dust and water. For comparison, the latest AirPods Pro 3 feature an improved IP57 rating, meaning they can withstand submersion in water up to one meter deep for up to 30 minutes.
The second-generation AirPods Pro also offer deep integration with other Apple products, enabling automatic device switching. For example, if you are listening to music on your iPhone and connect to your Mac to watch a video, AirPods Pro will automatically switch from iPhone to Mac. The headphones also include four sets of tips in the box, including an extra-small option, making it easy to find the most comfortable fit.
November 14 update: This article was previously updated to reflect Best Buy’s deal of the day; However, this deal is no longer available, so we’ve started highlighting Walmart’s Black Friday promotion again.
