After having lost Gerrit Cole for the entire 2025 to an elbow injury, the Yankees knew that they would need the players to intensify who could add a quality depth to their pitch rotation.

The AS of Pirates Paul Skenes is right in front of Schlittler, with an average quick ball of 4 seams of 98.2 MPH.

The other four players in front of Schlittler include Chase Burns (98.4 MPH), Joe Boyle (98.8 MPH), Hunter Greene (99.3 MPH) and Jacob Miriorowski (99.3).

This statistic is not the end of all, but it is a good indicator of what will happen for the 24 -year -old.
