Ancient alphabets, new insights: Researchers uncover hidden links among the letters

With artificial intelligence (AI) as a vital tool, researchers at San Diego State University have discovered surprising similarities between the ancient writing systems of Africa and the Caucasus region of Eurasia. Their study suggests that the structure of the Armenian alphabet may be more closely related to the ancient Ethiopian writing system than linguists and historians previously thought.
