Anker’s new 10-in-1 Nano Power Strip keeps your desk clutter-free

Anker thinks it has a simple way to avoid a nest of cables and hubs on your desk: put it all in a single box that attaches to the side. The accessories maker has released a $70 Nano Power Strip that it says will minimize bulk while keeping multiple devices fully charged.
Billed as a 10-in-1 unit, the Nano Power Strip combines six AC outlets (four on the bottom, two on the top), two USB-C ports, and two USB-A ports in a design that attaches to your desk without requiring tools. You can theoretically power your computer and mobile devices while keeping things tidy and within reach.
The band delivers 70W of total output power and up to 45W via a single USB-C port. The output is enough to charge thin and light laptops like Apple’s MacBook Air while still leaving space for your phone and tablet. Anker also offers built-in 1,500 Joule surge protection that could save your hardware in a spike.
The power won’t be enough for most desktops and gaming laptops, many of which draw well over 70W. However, Anker isn’t focused on those audiences. This is aimed at multi-device families and “simplicity seekers,” according to the company.
Another way to reduce cable clutter
The Nano Power Strip isn’t your only option for keeping things clean. There are many simple ways to improve cable management, such as zip ties, adhesive cable glides and cable trays. Multi-device wireless chargers are also easy to find, and many monitors have built-in USB hubs that can charge portable devices.
Anker Prime 6-in-1 200W USB-C Charger Review: This Charger Does It All
Anker hits it out of the park with its 200W Prime 6-in-1 USB-C Charger. Delivering 100W from two USB-C ports simultaneously or splitting the power bill four ways while producing 65W across two ports, this charger is the one to beat when it comes to powering your setup with a single wall outlet.
Anker’s new tape, however, can complement existing cable management solutions. It may also be more convenient if you don’t have an external monitor to charge USB devices, or if you just don’t want to crawl around on the floor to unplug adapters. It can also help child-proof your home by reducing the number of cables that young children can reach.
The Nano Power Strip is now available in black and white variants on Amazon as well as on the Anker website.
