Man charged with murder after sister of Timberwolves star Naz Reid shot dead | Minnesota Timberwolves

The Simberwolves player of Minnesota, Naz Reid, was killed in an apartment complex in New Jersey by her boyfriend, accused of murder, the authorities announced on Monday.
The police went to the Paragon apartments complex in Jackson around 11 a.m. on Saturday, after receiving reports. They quickly found Toraya Reid, 28, who did not respond near the exit of the complex, and she had apparently been shot down several times. The police also saw Shaquille Green, 29, from Jackson to run on a neighboring road, and he was placed in police custody without incident.
In addition to the number of murders, Green also faces two accusations of weapons. The police said that Reid and Green had been “a meeting relationship” but had not provided additional details.
Green remained imprisoned on Monday and the prosecutors did not know if he had kept a lawyer.
Naz Reid, from New Jersey and star school player in his country of origin, is about to enter his seventh season with Minnesota and recently signed a five -year contract with the team. He was appointed the sixth man of the year of the NBA for the 2023-2024 season.
Reid agents did not immediately respond to an email asking for comments on Monday.
