Apple is reportedly working on a bunch of new XR devices

Apple seems to have major plans to extend its range of prolonged reality devices (XR) by launching new vision series helmets and smart glasses, according to a report by the analyst of the supply chain Ming-Chi Kuo. In his report, Kuo shares the potential Apple roadmap for seven new laptops mounted on the head, which could include the outing of intelligent meta-base glasses, followed by XR glasses with a display.
As Kuo noted, Apple could launch a Vision Pro helmet fueled by M5 this year before showing an air of “significantly lighter” vision in 2027. This device would cost less than the $ 3,499 $ 3499 processor and would use the Apple iPhone processor.
Kuo also detailed Apple’s rumor plans to launch smart glasses in 2027, which could support vocal control and gesture recognition, as well as the possibility of saving videos with an integrated camera and “Sense on the AI”. Last month, sources were told BloombergMark Gurman is that Apple’s next smart glasses will be similar to Meta-Ray-Bans “but better made” intelligent glasses.
More on the road, Apple could launch a professional vision of the 2nd generation which presents a new “much lighter” design and a cheaper price in 2028, according to Kuo. Apple would also work on XR glasses with display with vocal control and gesture recognition for 2028 also.
There are some other devices with more troubled deadlines, including a pair of second generation XR glasses and a device that users can attach an iPhone or Mac. Kuo reports that the development on the attached apparatus has been interrupted due to an “insufficient competitive advantage” because the apple apparatus would weigh more than rival products.
