We already know that Apple plans to launch an important Siri upgrade to AI next year, but that could be better than we thought.

Mark Gurman’s latest power on the newsletter at Bloomberg contains interesting information on application intentions, an existing feature which, according to Gurman, will obtain a large upgrade of next spring when the new one will launch Siri more intelligent. When this feature is live, users will be able to use their voices to give Siri and Crossed complex commands.

Examples include the use of your voice to ask Siri to modify and send a specific photo to a specific person, or to connect to a hands -free application.

Of course, all of this is still in an internal test at Apple, and Gurman’s report said that there were still concerns about what work with enough applications is useful for launch. Its precision will also be something to watch, as is the case with any AI application. Apple first described the major upgrades in Siri (who have lagged behind other competing vocal assistants such as Gemini) at WWDC in 2024, but delays have led to a situation where upgrades are still not out, and will probably not be in time for the launch of the iPhone 17 in September.

Hopefully this functionality that was going out will prevent more headache for Apple’s legal team.
