Apple partners with Google Gemini for new AI features integration

Apple and Google just made one of the most important artificial intelligence (AI) announcements of the year. As part of a new multi-year collaboration, Apple will base the next generation of its Apple Foundation models on Gemini models and Google’s cloud technology.

Why Apple chose Gemini from Google

A long-delayed Siri overhaul is finally moving forward

A more personalized Siri is one of the biggest promises tied to this deal. Apple had already planned major improvements to Siri but ran into development issues.
