Jimmy Kimmel refuses to stop mocking Trump: ‘I don’t like bullies’

Jimmy Kimmel responded to President Donald Trump’s comments on the return of the late evening host, ABC having raised his very controversial suspension on Tuesday. Trump was not predictablely satisfied with Kimmel’s return, publishing on Truth Social: “I cannot believe that the false news ABC handed over to Jimmy Kimmel his work.”
“You can’t believe that they have returned my job to me? I can’t believe that we have given you your job!” joked Kimmel.

Declaring that Kimmel “endangers the network by playing 99% of positive democratic waste”, the president also declared that he was considering “test[ing] ABC on this subject, “implying that he would file a prosecution.
“The last time I continued them, they gave me $ 16 million,” wrote Trump. “This one seems even more lucrative. A real group of losers!”
“Only Donald Trump would try to prove that he was not threatening ABC by threatening ABC,” joked Kimmel.
Trump seems to have confused the separate networks that the airlines aerial shows, as this is an apparent reference to the settlement of $ 16 million paramount agreed to pay it in July. The regulations were castigated by the defenders of the first amendment and the press freedom, and labeled a “big bridge pot” by Late show The host Stephen Colbert. Cbs of the paramount subsidiary canceled the Late show A week later, the Trump administration approving the merger of $ 8 billion in paramount with Skydance less than a week after that.
The problems of freedom of expression also occurred concerning the suspension of Kimmel, which intervened a few hours after the president of the Federal Commission Commission (FCC), Brendan Carr, threatened the ABC radio permit if he had not “taken” against Kimmel.
“”[Trump’s staffers have] I leaned back to say: “Oh, he never threatened”. JD Vance said today that what the president of the FCC said was a joke. Which one, I don’t do it – maybe it was a joke? “Said Kimmel.
“And then the second Trump is alone, he sits on the toilet, he gets his dirty inches on his phone, and he immediately blows their apologies to millen and said that these are notes that made me turn. Anyone has already been dismissed for bad grades on Wednesday?”
Kimmel attracted 1.77 million viewers to T2 this year, coming second behind Colbert among the late evening shows in their time slot. Although to be fair, Kimmel also pointed out that Trump would know the bad grades, with several polls with the president’s approval rating at 55 to 56% unfavorable.
“He has some of the worst notes from the whole president,” said Kimmel. “Thus, on behalf of all of us, welcome to the Crappy Ratings Club, Mr. President.”
Kimmel then addressed criticism that believes that he is too hard with Trump.
“There are still a lot of people who think I should be withdrawn from Donald Trump,” said Kimmel. “So I want to explain. I’m talking about Trump more than anything because he is a tyrant. I don’t like intimidators. I played the clarinet in high school, okay? So I don’t like it.
“Donald Trump is a film style intimidator from the 80s who are old -fashioned for lunch, and if you give him once, he will take it back. Two things he loves, lunch and money … Return to the future. Literally, Donald Trump was the Biff model in Return to the future. And who do people encourage? I don’t know about you, [but] I am with Marty McFly. “”
However, Kimmel did not spend his time his own relationship with the American president. He also discussed the disproportionate fury on the right to a stopped escalator on which Trump was held at the United Nations on Tuesday, the president having demanded an investigation and the arrest of the one who had deactivated him.
“Trump will not publish Epstein files, but we will do an in -depth and complete investigation on who stopped his escalator,” joked Kimmel.
