Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs will be active and play Saturday night against the Chicago Bears, although he did not practice all week due to a knee injury, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.

Jacobs suffered another blow to his injured knee early in the Packers’ loss to the Denver Broncos last Sunday and did not practice Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday this week. In fact, Jacobs was using crutches as recently as Monday, according to Pelissero. The Packers listed him as questionable on the final injury report released Thursday.

Jacobs initially injured his knee on November 16 against the New York Giants. He has played through injury in each of the last three weeks, producing at least 70 rushing yards in all three games and scoring three total touchdowns, including two scores last week in Denver after suffering a blow to the knee.

Jacobs has suffered swelling, stiffness and reduced range of motion in his knee since his injury.

His replacements at running back are Emanuel Wilson, who played because of an illness last week in Denver, and Chris Brooks, who is questionable playing with a new chest injury.

A Pro Bowler in his first season with the Packers in 2024, Jacobs has turned 251 touches into 1,160 total yards and 14 touchdowns in 13 games this season.

Kickoff from Soldier Field will be at 7:20 p.m. CT Saturday evening.
