Apple’s Mac mini M4 is on sale for $479 right now

This time of year is not only a good time to save on gifts, but also to save on tech you might need (or want) for yourself. If you’re considering upgrading your computer, you can save now on Apple’s M4 Mac mini. The desktop is down to $479, 20% off its usual price and the same low price we saw on Black Friday.

Apple launched the Mac mini M4 in late 2024 and we were impressed by how something so small could be so powerful. We gave it a score of 90 in our test, thanks to features like its speed and 16GB of standard RAM. The base model, currently $479, also comes with 256GB SSD. We were also happy to see that it had USB-C and headphone ports on the front.

If you really want to go all out for someone’s gift (or for yourself), you can purchase one of the higher memory or storage options in the M4 Mac mini. You can buy the Mac Mini M4 with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD for $690, down from $799, a 14% discount. Meanwhile, the 24GB RAM and 512GB SSD model is down 11%, from $999 to $890.
