Apple’s Speeding Through an Odd October and Winning

Apple is currently focused on speed. He announced an agreement with stream Formula 1 races on Apple TV the same week he published a M5 chip upgrade for a Faster iPad Pro, MacBookPro And VisionPro.
It’s common to hear about chip upgrades in October. But there have been plenty of surprise headlines at Apple. The iPhone Air is reportedly a hot seller in China. The U.S. Mint has announced that Steve Jobs will be featured on a $1 coin. And Tim Cook got his own Labubu doll.
There was a lot of negative tech news in October, but Apple avoided much of it. (Well, Apple Music couldn’t dodge the Amazon cloud services outage which took down much of the Internet.) In this week’s episode of “One More Thing,” embedded above, I review the biggest Apple news to digest this week, including a new Mac commercial that, for once, doesn’t make people cringe.
I also had the chance to use the new Dual Knit Band for Apple Vision Pro – and it made a big difference in comfort when using the headset.
But October isn’t over yet. Could Apple give us more good news with another product, like updated AirTags, or will this ride be derailed? Recent headlines highlight how Apple helped fund the controversial White House ballroom, and there’s a new class action lawsuit against Beats headphones. Maybe the good news Apple is already running out of gas.
