Eric Trump on Monday evening previewed an AI-rendered vision for his father’s proposed presidential library in Miami, Florida. Naturally, given that we’re talking about the president here, the building is bold, ambitious and brilliant.
The president’s second eldest son says he worked extremely hard on the project:

The one minute and forty second clip begins with dramatic music swelling and the “camera” sweeping across the city before focusing on the gleaming building, which bears a striking resemblance to Manhattan’s One World Trade Center. Although Eric didn’t go into detail in his message, the president reportedly wanted his library to be 47 stories tall to commemorate that he is the 47th President of the United States (he was also the 45thth).

Although no official plans have been released, it wouldn’t be a Trump building if it didn’t include a hotel (and why not add a huge airplane?)
Likewise, the library’s possible display of the $400 million Boeing 747 offered by Qatar for use as Air Force One, which would dwarf the single-story Boeing 707 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and Museum in Simi Valley, California.
We are also talking about a hotel. “I could imagine,” said a Trump ally familiar with the discussions, who emphasizes that the design ideas remain fluid, a “traditional library space.” [on the] complete first floors. Then you go up to the 10 floors: hotel. And then you would have office space. And then, you know, there’s probably a nice restaurant at the top.
Of course, the project is not underway yet, but the lawsuits and complaints are already coming. The 2.6-acre parcel was owned by Miami Dade College, whose board of trustees voted in 2025 to transfer it to the state of Florida, which then licensed it for the future library, triggering the usual suspects. I’m sure this will all take some time to get to court.
But here’s the fun part: who is funding the project? Ironically, money from his legal settlements with the lying mainstream press – groups like ABC and CBS News – will make up at least part of the budget.
The rest will come from corporations and big donors, as well as foreign countries, and the remaining funds for the inauguration could even be reused.
Either way, Trump hopes it will be much better than former President Obama’s library:
