The two teenagers were found fatally killed on May 27, near Mount Ord, in a remote corner of the Tonto National Forest.

The two teenagers were students from the Arcadia High School in Phoenix, according to a letter that the director wrote to parents at the time.

“What an insane violent act, the murder of two young teenagers who came out in camping,” said the sheriff of Maricopa Jerry Sheridan on Friday at a press conference.

The authorities provided a few other details on what sparked the arrest of Brown. According to the local subsidiary of NBC 12News, its DNA was found in one of the SUVs of the victims, as well as inside a pair of gloves with blood outside.

Brown has since appeared before a judge and has been accused of two first degree murder. He is detained with a deposit of $ 2 million and owes on Wednesday in court on Wednesday.
