Arrest made in connection to robbery of Seattle home of rapper Macklemore

Seattle detectives arrested a man in connection with the June flight from rapper Macklemore in the Capitol Hill district, police announced on Thursday.
The 29 -year -old man, whose name has not been published, from Renton, Washington, is expected to face criminal charges related to the invasion of domicile and theft in the coming days. He was arrested for a separate flight from Seattle after the police served a search warrant at his home on August 21, police announced.
Seattle police collaborated with the Sheriff’s office in King County, which includes Seattle, and the Background Police Service, which investigated other high -level burglaries targeting celebrities and sports stars.
The investigation led the police to a jewelry in the south of Seattle where several articles from the house of Macklemore and other recently robbed houses were found, police said.
Macklemore’s home was stolen on June 7, police announced. The rapper’s 22 -year -old nanny called 911 to report two men who slipped into the house through a unlocked door and attacked it with spray bears. The rapper’s three children were in bed at the time, according to Entertainment this evening.
The suspects stole the house and stole thousands of dollars of personal items, in particular “a very distinguished Snders of Seattle sounds with the name of the owner”.
Macklemore is a minority owner of the Spenders football team in Seattle, according to the club, and has shown its MLS Cup ring in its clips. In a song, he struck: “I was supposed to be a ringtone, now I have too many rings and not enough fingers.”
