Would-Be Trump Assassin Ryan Routh Makes Bizarre Court Appearance, Asks Jurors About Turtles – RedState
When the photos emerged for the first time from Ryan Routh last September after trying to murder Trump at the time at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, you had the impression that he was crazy like a hat, out of his rocker, hazelnut as fruit cake. First of all, he tried to kill a candidate for the American presidential election, who tells you that all his marbles were not in the right place, but his haunted look and his strange writings brought the point back to the house.
Now, the 59 -year -old man stands up in court while his trial on many federal accusations begins, in particular chiefs of fitting to assassinate a large presidential candidate, to attack a federal officer and arms violations.
The fact that Ryan Routh stands for the Federal Court where he is accused of having tried to kill President Trump is a bad idea.

He filed requests for strippers and put greens and filled his deposits with insults against Trump (this probably does not help his case).

True to his form, he did the almost eccentric procedure and the judge was not amused:
An Florida judge rejected a multitude of bizarre and not relevant questions on Monday that the murderer of Trump Ryan Routh wanted to pose potential jurors before his trial – including how they would manage a turtle crossing the road during driving.
Roth, 59 – who stands out after having dismissed his lawyers – wanted to ask the Basin possible jurors their opinions on pro -Palestinian student activism and Trump’s proposal for the United States to take control of Greenland.
And he told the judge that he could have an overview of the values of potential panelists if he asked them what they would do if a turtle crossed the road while they were driving.
“They are all really out of the basis and have no relevance for the jury selection process,” said Federal Judge Aileen Cannon about Roth Requests, according to ABC News.

Roth had already filed dislocated requests leading to the trial, including a contesting Trump in a golf match with high issues where death was a possibility:

It seems that it is a bizarre trial unless the judge can keep control in the courtroom.
Although some brutality of Routh are almost comical because they are so bizarre, we also remember that mental illness is anything but funny, and Routh and the former assassin-Wannabe Thomas Matthew Crooks came very, very close to killing Trump. Changes have been made to the secret services, but we will need them to do much better than in Florida and Pennsylvania in order to avoid tragedy.
Because, unfortunately, there are guys like this. Hopefully it is put behind bars for a long time to come.
