Trump Arraignment “Not Focus” For Biden, White House Says

Trump voluntarily went to the authorities of the Manhattan Criminal Court on Tuesday after a big jury charged him on Thursday. The criminal accusations arise from the money of silence paid to the star of adult cinema Stormy Daniels before the 2016 elections to prevent him from saying publicly that she had had sex with him in 2006. Trump denied having had an affair with her, but he admitted in 2018 that he had reimbursed his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, for payment in Daniels. Falsify trade files to hide a crime constitutes a violation of the law of New York State.

Cohen pleaded guilty to violations of the federal campaign in the context of payment in Daniels and served a prison sentence.

While Trump’s historic appearance in court was held on Tuesday, Jean-Pierre told journalists again that Biden had not been informed by the authorities before the New York indictment. The Republicans have without proof the Democrats of orchestrating the criminal affair against Trump to derail his campaign to the presidency.

“The president was not given,” said Jean-Pierre. “He was informed by his chief of staff, and he learned that like all of you: through the reports. Again, our goal is currently on the American people.”

She added that Biden would catch up with developments before the courts whenever he had time.

“Of course, this is played on many networks here daily for hours and hours, so obviously, he will catch some of the news when he has a moment to catch up with the news of the day,” she said.

Jean-Pierre also refused to comment when he was asked by a journalist if Biden would consider forgiveness for Trump if he was sentenced.

“I’m not going to go into hypotheses, I’m not going to enter anything,” she said, “all I can tell you is that we are not starting in current cases.”
