Bayern Munich’s Max Eberl wants quick resolution with Dayot Upamecano contract

Bayern Munich sports board member Max Eberl has been attending this match for a long time.
Eberl had quick, easy contract negotiations and long, drawn-out negotiations. For central defender Dayot Upamecano, the contact discussions were long and interminable.

Eberl understands the game and how it all works, but he’d still like to see things resolved…quickly.
“We have been talking for a while and we are making good progress on one or two points. When there is something to announce, we will announce it. I can only say what we mean: that we are in talks. We are talking about the important decisions that the player has to make, the decisions that we want him to make to move our plans forward. We want to finalize it as quickly as possible. It is a big contract for Upa and an important moment in his career. We are pushing hard and then we will finalize it. see how soon speed we can do it,” Eberl said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Recent reports have been mixed. Bayern Munich representatives continue to express confidence, while other news indicates that a signing bonus and release clause still pose obstacles.
Either way, it seems everyone is aware that this will all become wide open in January when other clubs can gain direct access to Upamecano.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are said to be very interested in the Frenchman.
