Bentley turns Spanish mountain into bespoke luxury with Bentayga Artenara Edition

A decade after the Bentayga first entered the ultra-luxury SUV segment, Bentley is returning to the model’s geographic roots. The British carmaker has announced the Bentayga Artenara Edition 2027, a design variant inspired by Artenara, the highest village in Gran Canaria, which overlooks the Roque Bentayga peak which gave its name to the SUV in 2015.
As described by Bentley, the Artenara Edition follows the colors and finishes of the Bentayga Atelier, adding even more refinement and presence to the automaker’s two-row SUV.
As a ‘curated’ model, the Artenara Edition packs sought-after Mulliner features into a standard package, including the signature Mulliner double diamond grille. The move allows Bentley to offer a Bentayga in the range to buyers who prioritize the ultra-luxury experience but do not require a full custom commission.
Inspired by the Roque Bentayga peak
New Super Lux wheels
The centerpiece of the Artenara edition is a new design motif inspired by the mountain. For the first time, Bentley has incorporated the rugged topography surrounding the village of Artenara into the cabin. The design is laser engraved on the passenger side dashboard, along with the longitude and latitude coordinates of Roque Bentayga Peak. This mountain motif is repeated via laser perforations on the seats and door panels.
The Artenara Edition adopts what Bentley describes as a “clean, no-frills” presence, complemented by body-colored lower lighting elements on the bumpers and doors for a clean side profile. The optional Blackline specification features dark exterior trim, including a gloss black front fascia panel and gloss black rear diffuser.
While 22-inch gray Mulliner wheels are standard, Bentley is also launching a new 23-inch Super Lux wheel for the Artenara edition. Super Lux wheels will also be available for the Bentayga Azure and Mulliner EWB.
Driving the 2026 Bentley Flying Spur Speed was like borrowing the life of a billionaire
I spent a few days in the 2026 Bentley Flying Spur Speed, and every drive made me feel ridiculously important, even when stuck in traffic.
Simplified customization
Eight main design themes
The Artenara Edition is available in eight primary exterior colors, each with its own complementary tri-color interior scheme. The eight exterior colors include:
-
Beluga
-
Granite
-
Havana
-
Verdant
-
Blue Glitter
-
Pale Brodgar
-
Glacier white
-
Dark sapphire
Bentley highlighted several key combinations to demonstrate the range of the new edition:
- The classic theme: A verdant (green) exterior combined with a Saddle and Camel interior. This traditional British aesthetic is brightened up with Cumbrian Green accents and a Piano Cumbrian Green veneer fascia, balanced by a Fiddleback Eucalyptus center console.
- The timeless theme: A Pale Brodgar exterior combined with a Portland and Beluga interior split. This configuration uses linen accents and Piano Linen veneer to create a more classic Bentley look.
- The sports theme: Glitter blue exterior combined with Blackline specification. Inside, a palette of linen and beluga is contrasted by blue accents on the steering wheel, console and embroidered headrests.
While these themes represent the design team’s ideal specifications, Bentley noted that the Artenara Edition remains a canvas for further customization. Buyers can still opt for a fully bespoke experience alongside the Mulliner team if they wish.

The My Bentley Connected Car service is also expanding
The Bentayga Artenara Edition is available with Bentley’s 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 in standard or extended wheelbase variants, or as a V6 hybrid in a standard wheelbase configuration.
Although official prices vary by market, the Artenara Edition is expected to be expensive, with estimates starting around $250,000.
Like its 2027 range peers, the Bentayga Artenara Edition includes a three-year unlimited mileage warranty and Bentley’s fixed price service plans for the first three years of ownership.
At the same time, the My Bentley Connected Car service is expanding to six new global markets, including Australia and South Africa. Connected Services is a suite of app-based digital features that allow owners to remotely monitor and control their Bentley vehicle. Owners also have access to real-time traffic updates, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and satellite emergency services.
