Tame Impala returns with new acid house-inspired single ‘End of Summer’ • News • DIY Magazine

Today (Friday, July 25), Tame Impala returned with its brand single ‘End of Summer’, its first completely solo outing in two years.
The song, which is also coupled with the first track to be released via its new Home of Columbia Records UK label, sees Kevin Parker moves away from the warm psychedship which has come to define his work so far, inspired by the “The Deep and Rich History of Dance Music” – “The Acid House Summer of ’89, to free parts of the med -90”.
While the track also signals the start of a new chapter for Tame Impala – after the last feature film by Parker `The Slow Rush ”, which was released in 2020 – it has certainly been occupied since, after having also worked with Thundercat, Dua Lipa (with whom he collaborated on` `radical optimism ” of last year) and justice in the past five years.
In addition to the release of “End of Summer”, he also shared a new clip visually for the song, as indicated by the multidisciplinary artist Julian Klincewicz. Check it below.
