Propaganda princess praises Trump’s latest lawless pardon
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has barely made an effort to misrepresent the corruption of the Trump administration. Thursday press briefing.
Asked about President Donald Trump pardon of convicted Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, Leavitt lazily blamed former President Joe Biden.
“I would respond and say that the president exercises his constitutional authority to grant pardon requests, and that the president and the White House review every pardon request that comes to the president’s desk very thoroughly,” she said. “This is a case that has been over-prosecuted by the Biden administration, even by the judge.”
Zhao confirmed that he requested a presidential pardon just days after Eric Trump and Zachary Witkoff, son of US special envoy for the Middle East Steve Witkoff, announced a $2 billion business deal between the Trump family’s World Liberty Financial and Binance.
Yet Leavitt doesn’t even seem interested in trying to make a case for this blatant corruption.
