Donald Trump said he was thinking that Ukraine can regain all the land it had lost since the Russian invasion of 2022 in one of the strongest statements of support he brought to kyiv.
Writing on Truth Social after meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Tuesday on Tuesday, the American president said that “Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is able to fight and win all of Ukraine in its original form”.
Trump echoes these comments at a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron shortly after. Trump said Ukraine’s ability to retaliate could prove that Russia is a “paper tiger”.
“I feel that. I really feel that. Let them recover their land,” added the president.
Trump says that Ukraine can recover all lost lands against Russia since 2022
The American president issued his optimistic evaluation by saying that Russia was in great difficulty, after meeting Zelenskyy in New York.
He wrote: “After getting to know and understand the military and economic situation of Ukraine / Russia and, after having seen economic troubles, he causes Russia, I think that Ukraine, with the support of the European Union, is able to fight and win all of Ukraine.
“Over time, the patience and financial support of Europe and, in particular, NATO, the original borders of the place where this war started, is an option. Why not?”

Trump calls on nations to expel foreigners in the UN speech
Donald Trump launched a complete assault on the UN during his speech by the General Assembly, describing it as a global force without fictitus, corrupt and pernicious which should follow the example of his own leadership.
In an inflammatory discourse on the 80th anniversary of the United Nations Foundation, Trump called on countries to close its borders and to expel foreigners, accused the UN of leading a “globalist migration program” and told national leaders that the World Organism “financed an assault on your countries”.
Andrew Roth of the Guardian said that the speech was red meat for Trump supporters, and observers from the whole aisle in the United States quickly identified Trump’s likely public as his own base.
