Best VPN for South Dakota: Pornhub workarounds
On June 30 of this year, residents of the southern Dakota lost access to the pornhub of the adult site. Earlier this year, the Southern Dakota State legislature adopted the Bill of Chamber 1053, a law of over 18-year-olds designed to prevent minors from consulting the content of adults. Unfortunately, he also compromises the privacy of all legal visitors on the site.
The law entered into force on July 1, 2025, and the parent company of Pornhub Aylo began to restrict access to its adult sites for residents of southern Dakota one day earlier. Aylo and other privacy defenders claim that these laws violate not only freedom of expression, but will affect personal protections of privacy. By obliging individuals to put information personally identifiable to third parties, it creates the environment for potential excessive use of government and data.
This ban is only the last series of a trend that has seen more than 19 states lose access to the incredibly popular NSFW site. Similar prohibitions took place throughout last year for residents of Texas and Florida, among others. Wyoming and Georgia have also lost access from July, with the North Dakota following shortly after.
