Bucks County Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick is trying to reassure residents about ICE’s proposed detention centers in Pennsylvania.
The Republican said the Department of Homeland Security and ICE have no plans to open a detention center in his district, which covers Bucks County and part of Montgomery County.
Fitzpatrick said he contacted DHS after hearing from concerned residents and would oppose the opening of any establishment in his district.
