Birmingham begins quest for City Section flag football title

While some flag football teams have been playing for weeks, one of the best expected teams in the city section, Birmingham, finally made its debut on Wednesday in Arleta.
Coach Jim Rose has only two seniors in his team and worked to familiarize his players with the new rules, from Passage to La Défense, just one meter from the melee line before hiking the ball.
Bella Gonzalez, a second basic player in the softball team, will take care of the quarter-Arrières early after the quarter-Arrière 1 recovers from a knee injury.
Rose is particularly enthusiastic about the recruit Ellie St. Hubert, security and a receiver. “She’s really good,” said Rose.
The ban is the title champion of the city’s open division. Birmingham won the first title in 2023.
“We always think we are going to be one of the best teams,” said Rose. “Athletically, we are better than last season.”
