According to an EHU study, a lack of social support leads to increased loneliness among bisexual people. The work of Garikoitz Azkona of the Psychobiology group explored the relationship between sexual orientation and loneliness. The highest level of loneliness was detected among bisexual people, higher than that of homosexuals and heterosexuals.
