Bitter Jasmine Crockett Blames ‘Cheating’ After Vote Counts in Texas Senate Race Don’t Go Her Way – RedState

Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett (TX-30) has been a lightning rod for criticism due to her outlandish statements, ever-changing accents and generally reprehensible behavior. Yet somehow she thought she was ready for the U.S. Senate.

Voters are speaking out, and their answer so far is: yes, maybe not so much.

Although the official vote count is not final, Crockett is currently behind his competitor, Texas State Representative James Talarico. There are already legal exchanges and courts involved, so the final outcome may not be confirmed for days. However, Crockett is already attributing his poor performance to… voter fraud.

Wait, I thought it was a danger to democracy to suggest that such things could ever happen in the United States of America?

Crockett, dejected, went anyway:

Jasmine:

We encourage each of you to remain resilient.

We cannot allow this type of behavior to be rewarded, because as long as they know they can win, even if it means cheatingso they will continue to do so.

So I ask you, I implore you, to make sure you go ahead and figure out where you’re supposed to vote. Queue, queue…

Things could change, but the numbers don’t look good for her as of this writing. She knows why:

Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett is raising concerns about the integrity of her Senate race, accusing her political opponents of “cheating” as new polls show her trailing in the race.

Crockett made the accusation while addressing his supporters and discussing the state of the race, arguing that irregularities and unfair tactics could be contributing to his campaign’s struggles in the polls. Although she did not immediately provide detailed evidence to support her claims, her remarks quickly gained attention across the political landscape as the race heats up.

The Senate race has been closely watched, with both parties pouring resources into the race as candidates vie for voter support. Crockett’s comments are likely to further inflame tensions in an already heated campaign, as critics object to his allegations while his supporters argue the election process should be closely scrutinized.

Jasmine Crockett’s politics page finally drops — and it’s a hilarious trainwreck

Crockett was so bitter that she even abandoned her own election watchdog party:

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) told supporters she will leave her own watchdog party after votes were delayed in Dallas County.

“We need to see the Dallas County votes to see where they are,” she said, according to NOTUS, accusing the GOP of “specifically targeting” Democratic voters.

“I want you to have fun,” said James Talarico’s opponent. “But I won’t come back tonight because I have no idea when we’ll get results, and I think it won’t be until tomorrow.”

If Talarico or Crockett were victorious, they would face Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton or incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, two Republicans who are now heading to a runoff after Tuesday night’s GOP primary.

Texas certainly keeps it interesting.
