Australian Federal Police Commissioner Krissy Barrett told a news conference the two suspected Bondi attackers “acted alone” and were “not part of a larger terrorist cell.” Barrett added that there had been speculation around the suspected shooters’ visit to the Philippines, but said there was “no evidence” to suggest they were directed by others to carry out the attack.
