It turns out the most aggressive follow-up question aboard Air Force One came from the lavatory door.
A group of mid-flight reporters aboard Air Force One became surprisingly chaotic â and instantly viral â Tuesday when a bathroom door behind President Donald Trump suddenly opened and slammed into him mid-sentence, prompting the president to stop, turn around and deadpan: “Hello. There’s someone in there. Get out!”
The press burst into laughter, briefly drowning out the briefing when the unidentified occupant closed the door and refused to come out.
Trump responded to a question just moments after teasing a reporter wielding a boom mic: “You’re going to have to go easy on that thing. It’s a government plane, but I’d like to take care of it.”

Before he could continue, the bathroom door opened at the wrong time. A startled, unidentified staff member bumped the president’s shoulder and slammed the door so quickly that it almost got stuck.
Trump smiled before knocking on the bathroom door and saying, “Hello. There’s someone in there. Come out!”
The staff member remained inside for the remainder of the briefing.
Once the room calmed down, Trump went straight back to politics, addressing a question about health savings accounts and health insurance reform as if nothing had happened. âI donât want to give money to insurance companies,â he said. “They’ve been gouging the public for years. Obamacare.”

The tonal whiplash of the slapstick interruption followed by tough politics only amplified the comic moment, with White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt visible in the background of the pool photo trying to lure the mysterious stowaway out of the restroom.
Leavitt was seen laughing with a Secret Service agent moments later.
Air Force One groups are typically high-stakes exchanges in tight spaces and unpredictable incidents are not uncommon. It’s rare, however, that a bathroom door and not a presidential answer becomes the star of the show.
Despite the disruption, Trump continued to answer questions as the mystery staffer remained hidden in the restroom. The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request to identify the individual.
