Braves Make Bold Trade Decision on Ronald Acuña Jr., Chris Sale, Others: Report

While the post-season hopes of the Braves of Atlanta continue to fade, they should have many star players available on the deadline for trade.

Ronald Acuña Jr., Chris Sale, Ozzie Albies, Austin Riley, Sean Murphy and Matt Olson are all under the control of clubs this season, and could be competitors for the suitors. However, the Braves are not trying to start a reconstruction by exchanging them for prospects at the moment, according to Bob Nighenngale d’USA Today.

“Atlanta does DH Marcell Ozuna, the Raisel Iglesias lift and a few others available on the deadline, but they have no intention of exchanging a player as part of a multi -year contract, at least not before this winter,” wrote Nightingale.

The sale is currently on the injured list and has a club option for next season, but Alex Anthopoulos has already noted that the team would not exchange it. The team would also have closed the idea of an Acuña trade.

Albies, Olson, Murphy and Riley are all under the control of the club for several seasons. They also have stars selections to their credit and could be excellent additions for suitors. However, the braves were consistent by saying that the results of this season will not force them to panic and destroy their nucleus.

It is perhaps just a fall season and that the brave will reproduce on the right track next year. However, by non -entertaining offers for at least players with limited club control, they could also prepare for struggles in the future.
