DR Emma Hilton, a developmental biologist at the University of Manchester, told The Sun that the First Lady could technically offer at least five types of evidence.

CHILDBIRTH

The strongest evidence, Dr. Hilton said, would be to show that she bore a child.

“If you see a baby coming out of someone, you’re going to say, ‘yeah, okay, it’s a woman,'” she commented.

And the photos of Brigitte Macron pregnant with her three children could be decisive.

HORMONES LEVELS

Doctors might check levels of sex hormones – testosterone, estrogen and progesterone – which differ in men and women.

Dr Hilton noted: “This is something that has been used before for sporting categories.

“We use them to check the general sexual health of men and women as adults.”

MAKE A MALE GENE

Scientists can perform a genetic test to detect the specific gene that triggers male development.

“It’s called the ‘make male’ gene. It’s the only trigger in humans that lets them say you’re going to become a man,” Dr. Hilton said.

And if it is absent, that means it is a woman.

CHROMOSOME SCREENING

A simple test could show whether Macron carries a Y chromosome – a marker of male sex.

This usually means taking a blood sample and looking for the presence of a Y chromosome, usually linked to the male sex.

MENSTRUAL HISTORY

Doctors might also look at menstrual history, meaning whether a person has ever had a period, when it started and how regular it is.

Her lawyers have insisted that Owens has the right to say what she believes under free speech laws.

Rumors about Brigitte’s birth sex took off in France after the far-right magazine Faits et Documents published them in 2021.

Macron and her husband then filed a defamation suit in July and vowed to do whatever was necessary to prove that Brigitte is and always has been a woman.

They were then hawked to the public by bloggers Natacha Rey and Amandine Roy who pushed them to YouTube interview went viral.

The Macrons sued Rey and Roy for defamation in Paris and won, with both women facing huge fines.

But the two men were later acquitted by the Paris court. Court of Appeal on the incident for reasons of freedom of expression.

Brigitte appealed the decision to overturn the court verdict.

Amandine, a 51-year-old self-proclaimed whistleblower, has long claimed that Brigitte is a transgender woman who was born Jean-Michel.
