Dakota Johnson’s Triangle Scarf Is the Solution to Winter Hat Hair
Strega Nona reality check. Rather than risk the dreaded hat hair, Dakota Johnson decided to stay warm against the New York cold this December with a well-tied scarf. Just a girl and her hat against the world! Some of us (read “me”) used to wear a felt headband and a cozy scarf, but it’s definitely more downtown, which is where Johnson was, passing through SoHo to shop at Byredo, home of fancy perfumes and candles (if you get the chance, sniff the one at Treehouse; it’s so good).
Along with her shopping bag, the star carried a Valentino handbag and wore a wool coat that looks olive in this photo but is, we’re pretty sure, the same chocolate brown she stepped out in last month.

She also wore a white T-shirt, straight jeans and… flat shoes? Girl, get some boots (we have suggestions) and some thick, comfy socks! Don’t your toes freeze? A little discomfort for the sake of fashion is one thing but it’s December. It is now a health problem. At least break out the cow print sneakers, even if they don’t totally fit.
Beauty wise, she continues to prove that less is more on a casual day, with bare nails and a fresh face.
